With the highest number of student enrollments across CSUN, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is comprised of ten distinct departments and a number of well-recognized special programs, centers and institutes. The college’s mission is to prepare students for life and study post-graduation. As such, our esteemed faculty contribute to learning environments that stimulate collaboration and active engagement.

To design, deliver and continually improve highly effective programs for our students, we must be able to seize opportunities that strengthen the college’s reputation and expand innovative initiatives. The Dean’s Fund empowers the College of Social and Behavioral Studies to stay ahead of evolving needs and pursue innovative programs as they arise.

Gifts to the Dean’s Fund allow the college to direct funds to its highest and most urgent priorities, including investments in student success. The Dean may also direct funds to support student scholarships, recruiting and retaining superb faculty, academic and student enrichment programs or curricula, technology upgrades, and more.
