Transitioning from high school to college is a significant milestone, but for LGBTQIA+ students, it often comes with unique challenges. According to the Williams Institute’s 2022 Report, nearly one-third (32.6%) of LGBTQIA+ college students experience bullying, harassment, or assault—almost twice the rate of their non-LGBTQ peers (18.9%).

For more than a decade, the CSUN Pride Center of the University Student Union has been a lifeline for LGBTQIA+ students, advocating for their needs and providing a safe, affirming, and empowering space where they can connect, access resources, and find community. The Center continually evolves to meet the changing needs of students, offering innovative programs that promote visibility, understanding, and advocacy.

Your donation to the CSUN Pride Center directly supports these critical programs and services. Contributions help fund leadership development opportunities, including attendance at national conferences, internships, and fellowships. They also support programs that address the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ students, such as mentorship initiatives and scholarships for students facing financial hardship.
