We have seen how COVID-19 has crossed all borders and changed everyday life, impacting in some cases our health and in many cases our financial wellbeing. This is a time where many of us are reaching out to family to share messages of hope.

You are forever a part of the Matador family and are in our thoughts during this time.

We are also thinking about some of the newest members of the Matador family - our CSUN students, whose lives have also been altered during this global crisis.

Though their pursuit of a degree is undeterred, the impact of the pandemic has created hardships for many. Now, more than ever, our students are facing immediate challenges such as food insecurity, emergency housing, access to technology, unemployment or reduction in work hours.

In the face of these challenges, we wanted to offer a way you can help. If you have the ability, consider donating to CSUN's MataCare Emergency Fund. The MataCare Emergency Fund exists to help students with urgent financial needs. Join us in providing emergency funding to our most vulnerable students.
