Give students a world of possibilities
Conferences and competitions helps students understand the complex world of global business.
Give to CSUN Student Travel Fund
The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics prepares its students for future careers as leaders in a global economy. Professors often bring their real-world experiences into the classroom to broaden students’ knowledge of business best practices. However, there’s nothing like the unique experience of representing CSUN as a team in a national competition or at an international conference to put what they have learned into practice.
Competitions challenge CSUN students to step out of their comfort zone to solve some of the world’s toughest challenges, mirroring today’s fast-paced global workforce. Students benefit from working as part of a team to present their business marketing and consulting projects to a panel of judges, ultimately increasing their confidence and business competence.
National conferences and global summits give students the opportunity to learn from the best in business, open new networking possibilities, hear from other thought leaders in academia and the global marketplace, and meet with corporate and graduate recruiters on site. For example, the annual Beta Gamma Sigma Global Leadership Summit attracts the top 5 percent of business schools from around the world. The globally ranked Nazarian College chapter has sent three of its International Honor Society students to this prestigious conference for hands-on learning and professional skill development.
Open a world of possibilities for Nazarian College students by funding student travel to conferences and competitions. Your gift gives students unique learning opportunities that occur outside the classroom, creating future business leaders and problem-solvers.
